College of Homeopaths of Ontario

The College of Homeopaths of Ontario (CHO) will be the governing body for homeopathy in Ontario.

The CHO was established by the Homeopathy Act in 2007 and is represented by its transitional council. The transitional council will develop and maintain standards of practice, entry-to-practice requirements, standards of professional ethics and standards for continuing competence among members. This transitional process will last approximately until 2012. The Office of the Fairness Commissioner (OFC) will work closely with the transitional council.

The College of Homeopaths of Ontario falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

The OFC will oversee the registration practices of the CHO to ensure that they are transparent, objective, impartial and fair for anyone who wants to practise as a homeopath in this province.

CHO The OFC does not assess credentials, handle complaints or intervene in particular cases. Our mandate is one of systemic change. Please contact info@collegeofhomeopaths.on.ca for further information about your ability to practise as a homeopath in Ontario.
