College of Psychologists of Ontario

The College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) is the governing body for psychologists and psychological associates in Ontario. The Office of the Fairness Commissioner (OFC) oversees the registration practices of the CPO to ensure that they are transparent, objective, impartial and fair for anyone who wants to practise as a psychologist or psychological associate in this province.

Information to Applicants: The CPO is improving its systems for tracking applicants' progress and for communicating with applicants. This will help ensure timely and more efficient communications.

The CPO also now provides detailed, written reasons to applicants when it communicates registration decisions.
