The following graph shows the new applications to the regulated professions, from 2005 to 2012. The graph shows the numbers of applicants from:

  • Ontario
  • other provinces
  • the U.S.
  • all other countries (combined)

Note: 2009 was the first year that the new College of Early Childhood Educators accepted new membership applications. This accounts for the apparent sharp increase for the Ontario numbers in the graph.
