The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is the governing body for human resources professionals in Ontario. The HRPA was established through the Registered Human Resources Professionals Act, 2013, and is represented by its board of directors.

The Office of the Fairness Commissioner (OFC) will oversee the certification practices of the HRPA to ensure that they are transparent, objective, impartial and fair for anyone who wants to practise as a certified human resources professional in this province. The OFC will work closely with the Registrar.
