Skilled Trades Ontario (STO) is a new Crown agency that replaced the Ontario College of Trades. It operates at arms-length from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. The OFC does not assess credentials, handle complaints or intervene in particular cases. Our mandate is one of systemic change. Please contact the STO for further information about your ability to practice as a journeyperson in a compulsory trade in Ontario.
